Recreational Cricket to restart at HPCC from 11th July

The government have given the go ahead to restart recreational cricket from 11th July. As a result, we will be starting up some training and hopefully get a few friendly games organised before the season is out.

Please can you reply to me if you intend to come along? It is important we have an idea of numbers so we can plan and prepare accordingly and try to put some COVID-19 risk mitigation measures in place.

Please also download and fill in the membership form then bring it with you at your first session. There will be a revised membership fee reflecting the much shorter season, but we haven’t yet decided what that will be.

U9s (Years 3 & 4)Keelan and Paul will be running training 6pm – 7pm on Wednesdays from 15th July

U11s (Years 5 & 6)Myself and Dave will be training Mondays 6pm – 7pm from 13th July.

U13s (Years 7 & 8)Level 2 qualified coach Mike Farmer has agreed to run a one off training session on Thursday 16th July at 6pm. If we get enough interest then we will try to carry this on and organise some games through the rest of the summer.

U15s (Years 9 & 10)Although we are unable to run an U15s team this summer, we have been invited by Stefan Kavanagh at Over Cricket Club to form a joint team. I’ll send a separate email about this but please contact him on Stefan.Kavanagh@astrazeneca.com if you would like to register interest.

All-Stars (5 year olds to Year 2)Still TBC
